Batch Mode Window



The Batch Mode Window enables you to view Batch Mode files as you create or use them using the Add and Execute buttons on the Main Window. You can move and delete entries in the batch files using the toolbar buttons described below.

Menu Selections

File

New Batch Clear the contents of the Batch Mode Window and start a new Batch Mode file.

Open Batch Open a Batch Mode file.

Save Batch Save a Batch Mode file.

Save Batch As First name, then save, a Batch Mode file. The file extension “.fkb”--for “Finders Keepers Batch”--is added to the name you choose.

Close Close the window and quit Batch Mode.

Options

Stay on Top Keep the Batch Mode Window on top of other windows.

Toolbar Buttons

The buttons are enabled only when you have a Batch Mode file and you have selected a set of entries in it. Select a set of entries by clicking the mouse on it in the window’s batch-file viewer. To select a set with keys instead of mouse, move to the set with arrow keys, Page Up, or Page Down. Then hold down Shift and press an arrow key. A selected set appears in a different color. A set of entries consists of five lines labeled “Find, Replace, Folder(s), File(s), Settings.”

Up Move the selected set of Find, Replace, Folder(s), and File(s) up in the batch file.

Down Move the selected set down in the batch file.

Delete Delete the selected set from the batch file.
