Keepers File Menu

Print Print the word selected in the “Words” or “Found” list box and the results seen in the “File name | Matches | Folder “ list box.

Print Setup Set up the printer and paper.

Copy Selected Files Copy the selected files in Keepers | Indexes. The selected files are those you have highlighted by clicking in the list box with the heading “File Name | Matches | Folder”. Files are listed in this box when you click on a word in the list box entitled “Words,” or, when it is visible after a Find operation, the list box entitled “Found”. The files are listed because they contain the indexed word highlighted in “Words” or “Found”. A dialog will pop up for choosing a folder to which the files will be copied. NOTE that you are copying the actual files, not the index.

Move Selected Files Move the selected files in Keepers | Indexes. A dialog will pop up for choosing a folder to which the files will be moved, a target folder. After the move, the files will exist only in the target folder and its subfolders, not in their original locations. NOTE that you are moving the actual files, not the index; and, of course, the index will become meaningless. “Move” means “copy and then delete the originals”!

Delete Selected Files Delete the files selected in Keepers | Indexes. This is a “Recycle Bin” deletion; so if you change your mind after deletion, look for your files in the Recycle Bin using Windows Explorer. NOTE that you are deleting the actual files, not the index itself; and, of course, the index will become meaningless.

Exit Quit the program.
