Row Height

Set the minimum row height for the current row, selected rows, or all the rows in the table.

To set the height for all rows in the table, check mark the box in the dialog that is labeled “Apply to all rows in the current table.” To set the height for individual rows, remove the check mark: if rows are highlighted, their height is set; otherwise, the height of the current row is set.

In the dialog, choose Auto, Minimum, or Exact for the height. If you choose Auto, the editor sizes the rows to accommodate the height of the text. If you choose Minimum or Exact, you must enter a desired height in twips. If you choose Minimum, the height of the row is set to the height you enter, or if the height of the text in the row exceeds the minimum, to the height necessary to accommodate the text. If you choose Exact, the height of the row is set to the height you enter regardless of the height of text in the row.

Twenty twips make a font point. Thus, for example, to set a height equal to a 24-point font height, you would enter 480 for a Minimum or Exact height.

Tables are not available in plain-text mode. See Editing Modes.
