Indent Left

Create a left indentation for all lines in the current paragraph or for all lines in a block of highlighted text. The repeated use of this option increases the amount of left indentation.

NOTE that you can also create the left indentation by dragging the triangular indentation marker on the lower left side of the ruler to a desired position. The triangular marker on the upper left side of the ruler controls the left indentation of the first line of a paragraph.
