Drawing Object

Insert a drawing object—a text box, a rectangle, or a line—into the text at the current position of the editor’s cursor. The drawing object lies atop the text. If you insert a text box, you may type or paste new text into it.

To resize the drawing object, click the left mouse button on the object. If the object is a text box, you may click inside the box. Sizing tabs will appear on the object. Click the left mouse button on a sizing tab, and keeping the button down, move the sizing tab to expand or contract the drawing object. When you are done, release the mouse button.

To move the drawing object, click the left mouse button on the object to select it. Then move the mouse cursor just slightly outside the object if it is a rectangle, or over it if it is a line, until a plus-sign-shaped cursor appears. Click the left mouse button, and keeping it down, move the drawing object to the new location and release the mouse button.

Drawing objects are available in Page Mode only. See Editing Modes.
