Locate a string of characters in the current file. The editor displays a dialog so that you may enter the string to locate. Also, in the dialog, you may choose whether the search is forward or backward from the current cursor location. And you may choose to have a case-sensitive search. The editor will search for the first instance of the given character string.
To find other instances of the same character string, use Search | Search Forward or Search Backward.
